We found our way to the four star Alexia Hotel via Hotwire. It has a great Downtown location on 1st Avenue, only a few blocks from the Market. We paid $88 a night, but I failed to indicate that we needed a room with two beds, so I had to pay more than double that to rent an additional room. Typical of me. It's a funky hotel with a modern vibe. Here's what the lobby looks like...
